These photos appeared in the cover art for Milwaukee hardcore band, Since By Man. Art directed by singer, Sam Macon, these all fit into the narrative of the album, Pictures From The Hotel Apocalypse. We spent 2 days and nights in a hotel on Milwaukee's west side hoping the management wouldn't get too many complaints about what we were up to, and kick us out midway through the shoot. All the extras were friends, family and members of Since By Man, Temper Temper, Decibully and Red Knife Lottery.

This was my first shoot using proper lights, and while I was trying to ape the sytle of Gregory Crewdson, I think it turned out well. Obviously, we didn't have the budget Crewdson does, so we had to make do. While the record wasn't considered a "hit" I thought it was a great sophmore effort (although I am biased), I got lots of compliments on the photos.
